Summary: Haku had somehow managed to leave the Spirit World one winter evening, but then what? Chihiro had become the Underworld Queen, the most wanted in Japan, and Haku becoming an undercover agent? How will Haku deal with it? Please R&R!

Prologue

It was nighttime. A lone figure could be seen underneath the pine trees in the forest, glimmering as the moonlight reflects off his bluish white garments. He was no ordinary figure wearing the ancient clothing of the century before; it was his aura that distinguishes him from the rest of the crowd.

He stood near an abandoned temple, his eyes taking in his surroundings, his head swirled with worrisome thoughts as he had no place to go, no place to stay, and no plans to do whatsoever he had sought out to do. In other words, he was quite lost.

There was still a couple of hours before dawn, and the only thing he could do in the meantime, under the dark, is to walk down the dirt path leading to places that he does not know and hope for the best, after all what do you expect him to do.

On the other side of the town, a girl was fast sleep lying her head on top of the books she was suppose to be studying, dreaming of whatever dream a sixteen year old should have, definitely not the happy-ta-do (ones that have prince charming in it) ones of course, and definitely not what you think it is, but actually quite an innocent one with her failing her math exam miserably. And with that she woke up startled.

"Argh, what time is it?" She woke up grumpily, lifting her head up, staring at her bunny-faced alarm clock showing her the time. It was quarter after three. The sun had not even rise yet, it was still quite dark outside as she looked out of her window. Her head bobbled up and down as sleep eluded her once again.

I'll wake up earlier tomorrow morning to study again, hopefully.

With that as her last thought, her eyes closed on their own accord.

Outside in the dark, a lone figure could be seen approaching the highway, exiting the mysterious forest, yet nobody had seen it, nobody noticed as it made its way towards the small town with no particular destination.

That's when the story begins…
