My Band Family
They know be by name
They have seen me happy, angry, and sometimes my tears.
They have seen me in sunshine, sleet and in the rain
I am with them everyday to reach a certain goal
Which is perform a show that the audience will never forget
They love me for who I am
Even though I'm strange
They are not perfect, none of us are
But, we like to have fun
You are probably wondering who these wonderful people are
They are not my birth family, but a family away from family
These people belong to the band
We share a bond like most families do
We work and play together
They may not be perfect or even blood relatives,
But, they are family nonetheless
