Okay, so this is my first story on here, even though I have had this account for like forever. I decided to write a fluffy one-shot to celebrate my crush's twelfth b-day. Happy B-day, B! Anyway, he is a major Caleo and just plain Leo fangirl -yes, Morgan, I know what I wrote- but I couldn't think of a Caleo fic idea, so I'm doing Percabeth, yay! If you guys want a Caleo fic, PM or review with prompts. So, now, the fic!
Oh, almost totally forgot. Disclaimer: Anything you see that you recognize I don't own.
I can hear people and smell something burning. It's not until I get the back of the crowd of people and can actually see when I realize that it's my shroud. Chiron catches my eye as I join them and I'm pretty sure I see him wink at me. Annabeth is giving a speech on the stage and is in the middle of a sentence when she notices me. She goes from saying something about me being a great friend to her screaming a "What the Hades is wrong with you?" and "You scared the shist out of Perseus!". I don't hear what she says afterward because her face is buried in my shoulder and her arms are wrapped around my waist and she crying. After a brief moment of shock I wrap my arms around her and hug her even closer.
She pulls back, and I'm expecting her to pull an Annabeth and yell at me or punch me, but instead she kisses me. I'm just standing there, and she pulls away, probably about to start apologizing, but I'm already pulling her back and kissing her again.
I'm pouring years of love into this one kiss, and I can hear cheering and calls of "Finally!" and "Travis, you owe me twenty bucks!", but neither of us care. We are in our own little bubble. That is, until Clarrise and her siblings are picking us up and carrying us to the lake, saying "the lovebirds need to cool off".
They are throwing us into the lake, obviously forgetting I'm a son of Poseidon.
Definitely the best underwater kiss of all time.
