There he was in front of me. He looked so different, yet so much the same.

I couldn't even begin to explain everything that went through my head. He knew it was me too, though he did not show it.

We both played dumb.

I stretched out my hand to him knowing what I could do.

Ripping back his sleeve I revealed the tattoo, bearing his name, the one I convinced him to get.

"Jack Sparrow is it." I asked my voice cold. He flinched, his hand still in mine. Faintly I felt his thumb trace over the back of my hand. I dropped it quickly.

"Captain, Captain Jack Sparrow" he answers quickly. I hadn't been expecting that.

"I don't see your ship Captain," I sneer back.

He answers with something…I did not hear. An officer comes up with his things.

A pistol, which I happily make fun of him for. The compass. I didn't want to open but I knew I had to.

"A compass that doesn't point north," I knew where it was pointing. To him. Damn Compass. That bastard knew it too.

I pulled the sword from the sheath.

"And I half expected it to be made of wood." I knew he would get offended. I can't remember why now but that was once a joke between us. So long ago.

I offended him some more, not really knowing what I was saying anymore, I just did not want to look into his eyes.

Soon I was ordering for him to be shackled. With a stern sound from Miss Swann I added a carefully.

Chaos….that's the only way to explain it.

The chain was now around her neck and he was calling to me.

"Commodore," it sounded so foreign from the James I was used to in that smoky voice.

He turned her around and was pressed to her. He looked to her then slowly; ever so slowly his eyes captured mine.

Within seconds I knew what he was saying to me through his eyes.

Hello Jamsey

Haven't forgotten ol' Jack 'ave you?

Who's this pretty thing? She yours?

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Gentleman, Milady, you will always remember this as the day you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow"

And he was up in the air. And Miss Swann was in my arms.

Beside me I hear a "Now will you shoot him?!"

I yelled "Open Fire," knowing he must die, yes a bit harsh but so is what he did to me. He must die before he breaks my heart again.
