"Why won't you take off your sunglasses?""They're obviously X-ray sunglasses, Carter," Nathan said in a tone that suggested Jack was something of an idiot.
"Wait - you've been looking at people naked all day."
"Not just naked skin, but muscles and bones too. Fascinating, really."
Perturbed, Jack covered himself with a file folder.
Even behind the glasses, it was obvious Nathan was rolling his eyes. "They're X-ray glasses, Carter. They can see through paper."
"So you have been looking at people."
"For science."
"You always say it's for science when you act like a total perv."
"It always is. That's why they call it 'sexual experimentation'"
"You're ridiculous, Nathan."
"If I'm so ridiculous, then why is your heart beating faster."
"Um, anger?"
"Yeah, I can see blood flow too, Carter."
"Oh."
"Yeah. So... are you going to arrest me for voyeurism?"
"I would if I thought it would stick."
"Do you want to come back to my place then?"
"Not really."
"Your blood flow says otherwise."
"I really hate you sometimes, Stark."
"Yeah, I can think of one part of you that seems to like me."
Carter glared at him.
"Fine," Nathan said. "Come to my place, and I'll let you try the glasses."
Jack smiled. "That's more like it."
