The title has been changed, since I was reminded that there exists a far shorter and extremely poignant Whofic.

For those who don't know, the Cloister Bell is Gallifrey's "maximum danger" alert signal -- it goes off if the Time Lords have detected a threat to the entire universe. But it's sent to the TARDISes from Gallifrey, hence spookiness here.

And for the record, this was based on Fredric Brown's extremely short science fiction story "Knock."
