A/N Bellatrix is such an interesting character. She's one of my favorites actually. So I decided to do a sort of one shot about her.
Bellatrix lay in the prison. She didn't care. Her love, Voldemort, would free her. He would come back. He always did. She remembered the first time she had met him. She was a few years younger than him. But he knew her future husband. He was the ringleader of the gang he was in.
She'd always looked up to Voldemort, who was then Tom Riddle. He was leaving Hogwarts when she was entering. When she'd seen his face, she'd fallen in love. In love with a man who would love her back. She knew that. She watched breathlessly as he spoke parseltongue. She laughed and flirted with him. Cissy saw that. Cissy warned her. She said he was too old. He wasn't. He was just 7 years older.
She hadn't seen him at Hogwarts after that. She itched to get out of the castle, to go back to her one true love. After Hogwarts, she looked for him. That was when she met Rodolphus. She married him to get closer to him. He who she had searched for. Theirs was a loveless marriage. Rodolphus just saw her as a way to bolster his pureblood credentials. They didn't love each other.
Then she met him. And he was more wonderful than she could've dreamed. She reverently approached him. I will be your greatest servant. She whispered to him. I know. He said, then branded her. She became his best lieutenant, torturing people, killing people, all so that he'd notice it. Notice her. And he did. She became his most trusted Death Eater, along with her husband and his brother. Later, he put Barty Crouch into her service. She made him want to be a Death Eater.
And then Voldemort fell. She searched and searched for him. Then she found the Longbottoms, and tortured them, believing them to have his whereabouts. They didn't, and her fury broke. She was caught, and she proudly announced her loyalty to the Dark Lord.
She smirked and she settled down. She would wait. The Dark Lord would come for her.
