Stars.

She loved the stars. She loved to lie in the grass and stare up into the vast night sky.

She'd give it up though. For a different view.

And I'd give up forever to touch you,

As she lay in the grass, she turned her face to her right. Scarlet tresses met her gaze as his face turned towards her, his emerald eyes looking into her own.

She smiled at him.

He smiled back.

'Cause I know that you feel me somehow.

It was during moments like this that she felt as if she could touch the sky, and Heaven was just a little bit closer.

You're the closest to heaven That I'll ever be

And she didn't want to go yet.

And I don't want to go home right now

But chemistry exams don't study themselves.

He kept his eyes fixed to the sky, not daring to turn them to his right.

Not daring to look at the girl lying beside him in the grass.

He didn't want to chance getting caught.

It was so peaceful.

He just lay still, drinking in the stillness of the moment.

He closed his eyes, breathing in gently.

She wasn't wearing perfume, but she smelled like a spring night.

Grass, rain, and starlight.

He sighed, knowing that, momentarily, she would be leaving.

He saw her turn her head to look at him, through the corner of his eye.

She smiled at him, her eyes shining.

He caught his breath and smiled back.

She turned her face back to the sky and sighed.

"I have to go home." She whispered.

"I have to study for that exam tomorrow."

He sat up with her, grabbing her arm, gently, as she went to stand.

She turned to look at him.

He stayed silent for a moment, searching for the words that he wanted to say.

'Evy, I love you! It's not that hard, is it?' He thought to himself.

"Evy…" he started. "I…" He sighed, resigning himself.

"Don't leave yet."

She looked at him for a moment, thinking.

"Just stay a little while longer."

She smiled at him.

"Okay 'Rama."

"I'll stay."
