The Clichés

"I'm leaving the guild."

"WHAT?" Suddenly everyone seemed to stop caring about what they were doing, turning around to see Lisanna standing by the doors of the guild, a luggage bag standing beside her. Everyone heard her even though she was on the other side of the guild, but that didn't matter. This is fanfiction!

"Why would you leave?" Everyone from the guild echoed together.

"Lisanna, please don't go!" Mirajane cried out, completely in shock at the sudden turn of events. How could she have noticed this coming? All those times she had been gushing over the new couple and forgetting about her sister's feelings for Natsu—she had thought that she was being a good older sibling to Lisanna!

"MAN!" Elfman randomly shouted. Probably in agreement. Nobody knows; all he has to say is man and he's considered not OOC.

"Lis..." Natsu said, using the nickname he had never used until this very moment. It was just a shortened version of her name-which was supposed to be used in a sentimental way as means to convince Lisanna not to go. "Why would you leave? What have we ever done to you? I was obviously to preoccupied with my new girlfriend to notice my best friend's sadness!"

"Aye!" Happy nodded, even if he wasn't technically part of the NaLi relationship. He had an excuse too!

"You've all forgotten about me." Lisanna pointed out the obvious, attempting to fight back the tears that were gathering in her throat. "And you all think I'm weak...that's why I was kicked out Team Natsu!"

"I thought you were okay with that, Lisanna." Erza reminded, even though Lisanna was never part of that team. And even if she was, they wouldn't have ever kicked her out because that's not how Fairy Tail is.

But again—fanfiction!

"We're your family; we didn't think you would be upset about this." Lucy affirmed, sounding as fake as ever, because, of course, there had to a bitch somewhere in this story. "We all love you!"

"And you know there's only room for five people in Team Natsu! It's the rules!" Gray shouted somewhere in the back.

"Goodbye Fairy Tail," the former mage of said guild spit with venom, signifying just how mad she was. Mad as a snake. "I hope you're all happy. Especially you, Natsu! You're the one I love, but apparently I haven't made it obvious enough!"

"No wait, Lis!" But she had already left in tears, leaving Natsu to stay outside of the guild. It wasn't like he had the ability to catch up to her, and so he was stuck there, making the story even more angsty and edgier than before.

"Natsu, it'll be okay." Lucy reassured, though inside she was so happy. Finally, her rival that made her feel secretly insecure about losing Natsu was gone! Yes! "At least you have me to pay attention to...until Lisanna comes back in a few chapters physically and mentally stronger than before! Then it's back to me being an insecure bitch!"

And everything went back to normal. Until Lisanna came back.

Several chapters later.

The End.

I never understood why this constantly recycled plot is so popular. I'll probably never get it. :') But yes, this is a well known cliché in this part of fanfiction so I thought I'd poke fun at it. I'm sure we all know this isn't something any guild member would do.

Anyways, this is part one of "The Clichés" series, featuring NaLi of course. Some of these prompts I've made I'll take seriously, but other prompts like this one are stuff I'll either make fun of or have fun with haha.
