Kurt jumped slightly as his phone vibrated in his left pocket. Looking up to make sure his teacher wasn't watching him, Kurt slid his phone open and saw that Blaine had texted him, which seemed odd as Blaine knew that he was in class and hated getting in trouble. Without reading the message, Kurt excused himself to the bathroom where he slid his phone open again and read:

hey kurt, i know your in class but what are the chances of you maybe coming home early?

Nervously, Kurt hit the call button on his phone and waited anxiously for Blaine to pick up.

"Blaine, are you okay? Why do you need me to come home? Is your eye okay? What's wrong?" Blaine sounded guilty and sheepish as he answered, "No, I'm fine it's just… well… Cooper brought me some movies to watch but then he left again cause he had to go back to work and I don't feel like watching them alone." He said it very fast as if he almost didn't want to say it at all. Kurt tried not to grin as he said, "You want me to come home in the middle of the day to watch a movie with you?" No reply.

"Kurt, my eye hurts."

"Alright, I'm coming, I'll be there in twenty minutes, can I get anything for you on my way?"

"No, just you is perfect."

"K, see you soon hun."

"See ya." Kurt hung up his phone and smiled. He wasn't happy that Blaine was in pain but he couldn't deny that he was glad of an excuse to get out of Calculus.

Twenty minutes later Kurt opened the door to Blaine's bedroom to see Blaine asleep in bed, one hand tucked under his pillow the other gently resting on the Harry Potter book he had been reading. Lifting the heavy book out from under Blaine's limp hand he slid under the covers, propped himself up on Blaine's numerous pillows and began to read. It didn't take Blaine long to wake up after Kurt got there. He rolled over and looked up at Kurt with a wide smile on his face.

"Arr!"

"Hey sleepy head! How's my super awesome pirate boyfriend?"

"Very happy to see you here." He laid his head on Kurt's lap and reached for his hand. Kurt held it gratefully. He had been having a hard time getting the image of Blaine collapsing to the ground out of his mind and he felt content just to sit here forever holding Blaine's hand, knowing he was okay.

"How's your eye feel?" Kurt asked running his fingers through Blaine's hair.

"Fine"

"You're lying"

"How do you know?"

"Because you suck at lying. Do you want me to put a movie in?"

"Yeah, okay." Kurt reluctantly unwound his fingers from Blaine's hair, got up and looked through the enormous stack of DVD's on Blaine's bedside table.
"All Disney movies. Really?" Kurt looked toward Blaine who gave him the most sad, puppy-eyed expression he had ever seen. Kurt felt his insides melt as he looked into Blaine's one uncovered eye and smiled. He popped open the Lion King and put it into the DVD player. The credits started and Blaine's head found it's way back to Kurt's lap.
