This idea just popped up and I didn't quite know how to put it into a story but here goes! Enjoy!
Lily Evans loved watching the sun rise. She would be sure to wake up early every day and sit by the window of the Head's Common room where she had a great view of the sun peek out from the mountains and slowly spill the light over the ground, making the world seem as though it was made of hundreds of hues of gold. It was truly magical.
She also loved what it brought. The expectation of a new day and new beginning spark something in her- as though she could just start afresh whenever she felt like it. And then there were the sounds of birds singing their souls out that were enough to lift the sourest of moods. It was these single moments that Lily lived for.

He loved watching her. He found it fascinating that the simplest things like the sun rising could spark so much emotion from her- he could tell by her eyes which would light up when she watched the scene.
Every morning James would hear her creep down the stairs and he would soon follow her. Whether or not she realised this he was unsure. Then they would sit in silence in their shared common room for nearly an hour. Her staring out the window and him staring at her. Soon it would be time to go to breakfast so he would shrink back into the couch as Lily sighed and went up to her room to change.

He would watch her all day if he could, she was so beautiful.
'James, are you OK?'
James was snapped out of his trance as his wife called him.
'I'm fine sweetheart! You just look so beautiful.'
Lily smiled at James as she came to sit next to him. They snuggled together and continued to stare out the window. James turned to look at Lily again and sighed.
He could stare at her all day now because he was hers. Forever.
The endings terrible I know but review anyway please!
