I'm on my way to Coin's office. My feet feel like bricks because I am scared, terrified, of what she's going to say.
I knock on the office door. Coin's voice calls, "Come in!"
I walk inside. The black walls with blue desks remind me of Capitol fashion. There's a large television on one wall, and a big mahogany desk painted blue. Coin's sitting in a big rolling chair on one side; the chair is red and high backed. The chair on the other side is red and normal looking. There are many filing cabinets built into the wall. The room is large with a high roof, and as I look up, I notice more cabinets and sections cutout. The room is amazing.
Coin's face shows no emotion. "Beetee, sit. I must speak with you about the District Eight footage."
I sit down. "What do you mean?"
Coin sighs. "Well, I wanted to review the footage." She touched a button on her desk. The chairs automatically swiveled towards the television; it flicked on automatically, playing my footage across Panem. Coin got halfway through and spoke, saying, "Shame we couldn't get it on live."
I manage out, "Well, I tried to hack into it before, but it was difficult. I could barely get in for this, but I changed the data so I have control."
Coin still has her eyes on the screen. "Yes, the Capital is difficult no matter how ignorant."
I am about to make a comment that the Capital is probably watching out of habit, but we're in 13.
As if she is looking at Katniss in person, she says, "I do not believe Katniss Everdeen is mature enough for this. She doesn't listen to orders and breaks too easily."
She crosses the line. "Ma'am, Katniss Everdeen has a boyfriend who is probably close to death because they think he knows about this. She's having a breakdown and is probably worried sick. Please, give her a break."
Coin swivels her chair. "Excuse me?"
I swallow my pride and rub my Communicuff. I know I'll have to say goodbye to it now. "She is probably worried sick."
President Coin stands up. "Beetee, she goes and takes naps during meetings and makes out with Gale Hawthorn! She does not give a damn about Peeta Mellark! She needs to give up the fu—"
The door swings open. Katniss Everdeen stands in the doorway. "I think I just walked into a conversation I shouldn't have." She looks at her arm. "Oh, that says Room 473, not 478."
"Katniss, come in quickly," Coin demands.
Coin's hard stare makes Katniss nervous, and she starts shaking. Coin looks at her arm. I guess she's satisfied and tells her to leave. "Yes ma'am."
Coin's door closes, and we're alone again. "Beetee, it's time for you to go. Goodbye."
And I leave her office.
