"Alaska! Wait!" Derek ran after me. I couldn't believe that he had gotten the nerve after what he had done.

"What," I muttered in what I hoped sounded like an irritated tone. I was tired of all this bull. High school relationships suck, especially if your a freshman.

"I didn't mean to kiss her, I really didn't," Derek was now close to me with a solicitous look. See, the thing is that in Hollywood it seems that everyone wants to be an actor and brought along drama everywhere they went. And guess what? Derek was one of them.

"Oh, and I suppose you didn't mean to grope Caitlin's breasts too huh?" I yelled, I couldn't control my emotions anymore. He was my boyfriend for two months and yet he decided to make out with a slut in my face.

"You said that you weren't going to go to the party," he retorted, his nice boy facade disappearing.

"I wasn't but then you seemed so sad so I came. Plus, that doesn't even give you an excuse to make out with a slutty sophomore behind my back!" I began to run back to Tammy's car so that she could drive me back home where we would eat ice cream and make fun of Derek until all the burden was gone from my now broken heart.

Derek, apparently, did not want me to leave though so he grabbed my wrists but when I refused to go back to the party he just left me and scoffed. Yeah, I sure can pick them boys huh? When tears finally started to fall off my face I decided that standing still on the sidewalk was not the best option to do when it was ten at night. However, when I started to locate Tammy's car I heard the word bitch coming from someone that was very similar to Derek. Of course, being the curious teenager I was, I turned around and there was a tall dark figure behind me who then put out his hand for me to hold. In a spur of the moment thought, I held it and we ran in the middle of the night into the cloudy horizon.

"Hi, I'm Cameron," he let go of my hand and stopped running then smiled. I mean, I know going and running off with strangers is never a good idea but this stranger was pretty darn cute with his dark locks and brown eyes.

"Alaska," I answered in return between panting breaths.

"I know," he was still smiling, his dimples only adding on to his looks.
