Prompt #6 [Location] Greendale
"Shit." Betty hissed in frustration. She pounded the steeling wheel. "Shit! Shit! Shit!"
"Whoa there B. What got up your ass?" Veronica stared wide eye at the side of her best friend's face.
"Of all the fucking places to break down ... it has to be here." Betty snared.
"It's only Greendale. It's not like it's ..." Veronica pointed out.
Betty's head twisted and she glared into the brunette eyes. "Oh shut up." She growled.
Veronica's eyebrows rose in shock; then her temper shot up. "Excuess me!" She demanded hotly.
Betty sighed. "I'm sorry Veronica." Her eyes squeezed shut. "Forgot you are new to Riverdale ... and Ohio at that."
Veronica's temper lowered as she realized that Betty was just frustrated at the situation ... and she's not actually trying to start a fight. She placed a gentle hand on her best friend's shoulder. "Hey I get it B. There are parts of New York that I am not happy to be in. There's parts of the entire world that I'm not happy to be in. To be stranded in unexpecting." She gently squeezed the shoulder trying to get the blonde to calm down. "It's not the end of the world hmm."
Betty's eyes slid open. "You are right it's not the end of the world." She leaned back in her seat. "Just every time I'm in Greendale ... something bad always happen." She thought back to every single bad things that happened in her childhood. "If I could I would avoide this place at all cost ... but unfortunally this is the only way back from the auto shop that my dad sent me to that only carries the part that he needs in Ohio." She breathed in deeply. "The part that would simply take weeks to get if we ordered by mail ... why waste a weeks time when we can just take a day to drive to the auto part store and back."
