Nico's POV
"Hey Nico!" I turned around and saw Leo coming up to me. "Do you want to go to the lake? Just the two of us?" He asked. We did this often so there was nothing odd in my books. "Alright." I said. Walking to the lake Leo jumped right in in just his shorts, I took my time and set to taking of my shirt and jean jacket. When I pulled my shirt over my head I heard Leo gasp. I turned to look at him to see him staring at my back. "Dude when did you get wings tattooed on your back?" I peeked over my shoulder to see a bit of the tattoo he was talking about. "Uh… it's been there as long as I can remember." I said. "Really? Why?" He asked. I shrugged and got into the lake myself. "According to my mother it's part of my family heritage or something like that." I said.
"Family heritage? Tell me more!" Leo said looking at me. I knew I tended to be secretive about my family so he was pretty egare about me talking about my family. "According to my mom my family line was descended from angels which is where the name di Angelo comes from. It's be forever since I heard the stories but that's what I remember." I said. "Really? I thought you didn't believe in stuff like that." Leo said. "Whatever, it's just part of the family legend." I said. "Dude look at where we are, basically everything at most wouldn't believe is part of our lives. Do you ever think that it might be true?" He asked. I thought about it. "I mean sometimes I wonder if it is, I mean these tattoos have been where they are for as long as I remember and I'm not sure how they got there so maybe what my mom said is true and their my wings just waiting to be opened for the first time." I said.
"Dude can you throw me in the loop cause I'm not sure of what you're saying." Leo said. "Sorry, when I asked my mom about them she said that they where my wings, and that at some point I'd open them for the first time and fly. I'm not sure how I'd open them but if it's true the tattoos would reflect how my wings will look when I open them." I said. "That's so cool, wish I had a family heritage like that." He said. "Yeah alright, come on man let's change the subject okay?" I said.
Third person POV
Standing in the shadows of a nearby tree was a person looking at the two, mainly focused on Nico's back where the wing tattoos laid. After hearing the name 'di Angelo' they let out a low growl and took off to a hummer lying nearby where they got onto a phone and spoke. "I found one, the di Angelo family line is still alive. A son named Nico." They said.
