"I'm so hungry I could eat a— stop looking at me like that in public." Amanda grumbled as she stared at the 'beauty queen' beside her that had the look on her face of one who just really didn't care.
"Amanda, we have to spend time together; I am not buying you food." Diana's voice was cool and controlled like it always seemed to be around her.
"But Diana, I'm really hungry this time." The smirk on Amanda's face was not a good indicator of how sincere she was.
"I don't care." It was grumbled out in a whoosh of a breath as Amanda stared at her rather playfully.
"I think you do." It was half sung, but Amanda figured that they could have fun on this little trip that the headmistress had insisted on; "You're both talented girls, but you need to work on your behavior, young lady, which Diana could teach you a thing or two about."
"I don't." Diana grumbled as she watched the colors of the buildings in the mid afternoon sun and tried to ignore the harsh glare that bounced off of some of them.
"Diana." Amanda wailed leaning against her, "Don't you want to have fun?"
"Not really." Was the almost automatic response that she received.
"Okay." Amanda shrugged as if it didn't take much more than constant refusal for her to give up though she'd never been all that eager to listen before.
Diana walked through the streets in the steady way of a confident woman, a confident witch, as she navigated through the city with no intended destination.
"Diana, come here." The gentle and playful smirk on Amanda's face left Diana feeling not at all at ease as she came closer to her.
Amanda moved closer in all of the graceful speed of a gazelle and naturally surprised the most popular girl in school with a kiss on the lips.
Diana would grumble about it later, say that Amanda pushed too hard, and that she couldn't kiss well at all though really Diana had practically melted into the half a second long kiss of the rebellious girl beside her and felt more than a little dazed when she pulled away.
"What was that?" Diana had muttered much to Amanda's amusement.
"That was a kiss." Amanda winked back at her, "Now can we go eat, princess?"
There was nothing more patronizing than hearing Amanda call her a princess as she sighed and relented; she definitely did not want to be kissed again in public.
Amanda smiled, the grin of a victorious woman, as she walked along the streets in search of a fancier restaurant though not fancy enough to require dressing up as Diana was paying though Amanda hadn't really been all that hungry to begin with.
The rebel had managed to get the most 'talented' witch in school to listen to her and treat her to lunch as she relaxed beside her.
'That kiss wasn't too bad actually.' Amanda hummed to herself as she walked beside the receiver of said kiss and wondered if she could convince the girl to let her kiss her again even if there wasn't food or something else promised on the line.
