"Hey did Ma tell you guys she was gonna be gone for the day?" Jerry asked as he stepped into the small bathroom, leaning against the open door.
"Um no-did she leave us any food?" Angel muttered, his eyes fixed on himself in the mirror as he shaved.
"How the hell did she get out of the driveway? There's like ten feet of snow out there?" Bobby grumbled from his seat on the toilet as he clipped furiously at his toenails.
"Hell if I know but she told us not to go anywhere." Jerry responded tiredly.
"So what are we suppose to do?" Angel groaned.
"We could play some hockey-" Bobby paused to look up at his brother.
"No. It's to fucking cold." Jack's voice said from the above the shower.
"Fairy." Bobby spat.
Jack stuck his head from around the shower curtain and glared at Jerry. "I'm sick and you're all letting the hot air out so shut the damn door."
"Fine. Pansy-ass pussy." Jerry muttered and stepped aside to shut the door.
"I didn't mean for you all to come in." Jack groaned as he looked at each of his brothers.
"Shut up." Angel muttered.
"Bobby why don't you go rent some movies." Jerry suggested, leaning against the back of the closed door,
Bobby glared at his brother before attacking his left foot. "I'm not going out in this weather. You want some movies get your ass in gear and get them yourself."
"What a great big brother you are." Jerry smirked
"I want pizza." Jack said, twisted the water hotter.
"Ma left stew." Jerry glanced at the curtain.
"I don't want stew." Jack groaned.
"Whine whine whine…you lazy fuckers. You're all gonna eat it and be grateful." Bobby said but kept his eyes trained to his foot.
Jerry dug out his cell phone as Angel finished shaving and looked at him.
"What are you doing?"
"Calling the pizza joint to see if they deliver in this weather." Jerry replied, pressing the phone against his ear.
"Jack ass." Bobby muttered.
The running water stopped suddenly. "Someone got a towel?" Jack waved his hand outside the curtain, then stepped out.
"Christ kid can't you give us some warning here?" Angel glared then covered his eyes with a hand.
"I was taking a shower! What did ya think I was gonna come out fully clothed?" Jack threw back. "Someone gonna hand me a towel it's fricking cold."
"Here." Angel reached under the sink, grabbed the first towel he saw then tossed it to his youngest brother.
Jack gave a grateful nod then wrapped it around his hips.
"Shit," Jerry cursed.
"What?" Bobby asked.
"They aren't open." Jerry shoved the phone back in his pocket.
Bobby shrugged then stood, dropping the clippers to the sink counter then smirking at his still dripping baby brother. "Ok the games starting in ten minutes you guys gonna watch it?"
"Yeah."
"Sure."
"Fine."
"Fuck." Angel spat.
"What?" Bobby frowned.
Angel tugged on the door, "The door."
"What about it." Bobby said, turning his eyes to the other side of the room.
"It's stuck."
"What?"
"Push on it." Jerry encouraged annoyed.
"I am pushing on it dipstick." Angel growled back.
"Shit."
"Come on guys it's crowded it here." Jack whined, trying to take a step forward.
Bobby snapped, "Back the hell off Jackie we're trying to get out of here."
"Oh for Christ's sake."
Seven hours later when Evelyn found her boys still locked in the bathroom. Sitting in a semi circle trading jabs and throwing empty shampoo bottles at each other.
Her eyes locked on her youngest son, still only clad in a thin towel. "Do I want to know?"
"Nope."
