(Em POV) My name is Emmett McCarty me and my wife Rosalie McCarty are in the army,we met 3 years ago and got married 2 years ago. We are being deployed back but there's one slight problem,Rose is pregnant and we are the only two people who know.
(3rd POV) "Emmett?I'm home!"Rose called as she walked in the door to their apartment."In the living room rose"Emmett called back to her,she walks into the living room and see's Emmett sitting on the couch with a beer in his hand and the TV on to a football game. "hey honey how was your day?"rose asked, "it was boring,I need to get back out there and see my boys again"Emmett responds sadly, "oh honey we'll be back soon enough but I have some news for you"rose says excitedly, "really and what would this news be?"Emmett questioned "oh maybe something along the lines of we are gonna have a little munchkin running around here soon"rose said sitting down on Emmett's lap "no way your pregnant?"Emmett exclaimed "yeah I just found out today when I was with Alice"Rosalie beamed "isn't it great!" "yeah completely but if we are gonna be deployed again you cant go"Emmett said calmly knowing that there would be a fight coming over this "and I don't wanna hear any argument against it" "I shouldn't have even told you if you were gonna say that!"Rose yelled "I'm not letting you go and that's that,I'm not gonna argue you on this"he said again calmly "you know what never mind I'll schedule an abortion for tomorrow"rose fumed "don't do that rose you know it's gonna break you and I cant see you broken"he said upset "well maybe you shouldn't have told me I cant be with my men fighting for my country because I'm perfectly capable of doing so and anyways what are we gonna do with the kid when we're gone,dump it on Alice?"she yelled again at Emmett both of them already standing "we'll figure something out but please don't hurt yourself or the baby for both our sakes you can go but you have to be careful OK?"he said calming down a little bit and trying to reason with a still angry Rosalie "whatever Emmett I'm gonna go shower" as Rosalie stalks out of the room Emmett sits back down and sighs,rubbing a hand across his face he goes into the kitchen and starts to cook dinner.
(Rose's POV) ugh I really love my husband but sometimes he can really get on my nerves telling me that I cant go back to my boys is like telling me to end my entire life,those soldiers out there right now who are waiting for me are half of my entire life Emmett is the other half but if he doesn't let me go back and fight just because I'm pregnant isn't fair and he will pay. Hmm I smell something good coming from the kitchen. I finish up my shower and get dressed then I walk into the kitchen to see Emmett making chili and rice. "smells good in here" I say leaning against the doorway "yeah my mom's old chili recipe" he says quietly,I think he's still a little mad at me "Em honey?,are you still mad at me?"I ask sweetly "no I'm not mad at you Rosalie"he lied to me, "Emmett McCarty you cannot lie to me"I reprimanded him "who says I'm lying"he replied just loud enough for me to barely hear it "OK em lets settle this now,I'll go until I cant do any situps and then I'll get discharged OK?" I asked him hoping it'll make him happy "fine rose"he said and started dishing out food onto our plates,we then ate in silence by that time it was already 19:45 after that we just lounged around until 22:30
