Confusion

Dear Kai,

I really don't know how to start this… I can picture you reading this. There's confusion in your crimson eyes as they flick down to the name at the bottom, but you already know it's me. Who else do you know that would write in pink glittery gel pens? n.n (1)

Don't worry! There is a point to this letter…. An important one too, but it's hard to say, you know?

I've wondered long and hard about you… You're intriguing to say the least. Two-tone blue hair and red eyes like ice and fire at the same time. Contradicting each other just like the rest of you.

You must think I've gone mad! …Maybe I have… But I just had to get in contact with you. I don't know why…No, that's not true. I know exactly why I'm lying here at 2:30 am writing this letter.

The reason is…. Well, I love you, Kai. It's inescapable, I see that clearly now. Everyone goes on about how Rei and I will make such a happy couple and make everyone in the village so very happy. Rei seems fine with this he just wants a family and someone to blade with. But this would not make me happy only you can do that, Kai.

I think this is very brave of me really. Writing this, with all my heart and soul when you will simply sneer, rip this letter up and not return my feelings one little bit. I'll try not to care when I get no response. I know you hate people being weak, so I'll try not to cry either.

Kai folded the letter back up and placed it gently into his pocket. He looked out of his window into the night sky and tried to name all the constellations he could see. He wonders what constellations Mariah could see from her window. He resolved to find out by going to China, but only for the constellations, of course.
