Chapter 1: Rebirth
Clove was a traveling street dancer. She was 18, and very beautiful. She had shoulder length blue hair with the majority of her hair flowing out of a circular band on the top of her head. Her onyx eyes glistened in the sun and she had a beautiful swirly tattoo around her eyes. Her dancing outfit was a short shirt with a ribbon/scarf holding it to her neck, and 2 ribbon/scarfs connecting her shirt to a short willowy skirt. Clove wasn't always a street performer, she used to be a harlot, until her reserved djinn spoke up for the first time in her life. She knew the djinn was there she just didn't know how to talk to it. Her djinn had said, " Whoever said you had to be a harlot?" This one comment had made Clove rack her brain for a good answer but, as excepted, she found none. " I can be whatever I want..." she said, as though trying to prove it to herself. Well that was 2 years ago and Clove was having the time of her life.
She could now talk freely to her djinn, because her djinn had used up most of her power explaining how to speak freely to her without using any power. "Ironic, huh!" Clove thought. Later on her djinn had explained how to summon her. And that's exactly what Clove did. Her djinn said her name was Fey-Ree. Fey-Ree was very beautiful. She was dainty, kind of like a butterfly, Clove thought, with pale white skin, and long purple wavy hair that went to her waist. Her clothes, well, how to explain it? Her clothes looked like they were made from the clouds themselves. She was wearing a bikini type top with vine like straps and details, and a short wavy skirt that went to halfway down her thighs. Fey-Ree also had vine-like boots, quite like Cloves own pair. " That's because that's the metal vessel of the air djinn." she had said when Clove asked. "Wait. I OWN THE AIR DJINN!?" " Not own, my dear, you cannot own the air djinn. You just have the privilege of being good friends with me. Sorry but I cant have some magi ruining my reputation of freedom." "Hold on. I'm a magi!?" I screamed. "They're, like, the most powerful people on earth!" "Yes," she said, " I know. You just never realized your power because I couldn't explain it to you." I cocked my head. " Why couldn't you?" I asked. "Because, when you were young there were mean people after you and I used up my power at the time to put a protective spell on you. And since I used up all my power, I couldn't explain everything to you until a few months ago." she explained. "That makes so much sense" Clove thought. Then surprisingly Fey-Ree walked over to Clove. She shrunk with every step until she was just tall enough to pull Clove into a hug. As Fey-Ree hugged her, Clove got drowsier, until she fell asleep thinking about how Fey-Ree smelled, cinnamon and sugar, a comforting scent that reminded Clove of her mother.
