Nick and Judy were out on foot patrol, across the city of Zootopia where they parked the rover, when it started to pour. It felt like 5 gallon buckets being poured on their heads, drowning them.

Judy ran her paws up her wet fur on her arms, hating the slick feel of it rather than the dry softness, both she and Nick enjoyed.

They marched down an alley way, and poor unsuspecting Judy, walked straight under a gutter, the water overflowing right as she walked beneath it, all of it pouring down, plummeting her so hard she fell back on her butt, her hind legs spread, and her paws, face down on the dingy alley floor, and her ears drooped, her uniform soaked and clinging to her tiny body. Judy Hopps, one of the most fearless and amazing officers in all of ZPD, looked pitiful, completely over-taken by the rain.

She sat for a while, wallowing, when she felt something warm and he drape around her entire body. Judy looked up to see Nick, standing behind her, his own shirt off his chest and wrapped around her.

Nick crouched down and picked her up, cradling the tiny bunny in his arms, smiling as she burrowed further into his warm, though wet, chest.

Nick successfully got them to the Rover and sat Judy down in the passenger side, and quite literally 'hopping' into the driver's side.

He cranked the heat all the way up, looking over to Judy, only to see the back of his shirt. She'd curled into the seat, wrapping the shirt around her like a blanket. "Hey, Carrots, how about some coffee and some tacos, on ZPD, of course?" He asked, getting the Rover into gear.

After their pit stop Nick drove back to the department to park the car and to finish of their paperwork. He helped Judy out of their huge car, and held onto her paw, only dropping it because they entered the station.

Before they could ever get to their desks in their private office, Nick had his arms wrapped around Judy's tiny middle and had them both on the ground, Carrots curled into her bare, now dry chest. He pulled away momentarily to retrieve the blanket he kept in his desk fro naps, but Judy protested "Mrhrm, warm." She growled, almost protectively.

Nick sighed and forgot the blanket, wrapping himself around her, her paws twisted in the sot fur, resting on the hard muscles. "I'm never getting up." Judy once again growled.

Nick chuckled and twisted an arm around her. "'I'm never letting you go, you always ge us into trouble."

"Hmmm, so needy." Judy mumbled, obviously smirking into the fur of his chest.

"Only for you Hopps." He told her, and the quickly fell asleep.

Bogo and Ben Clawhauser came into the office in the morning to find a shirtless Nick spooning an officer Judy Hopps, who was clothed in officer Wilde's shirt. "Think they'll ever wake up?" Ben asked.

"No. Let them sleep." The first part came out snappy but at the end it softened. "They've had a rough week."
