Chapter 1: Intro
"You want my treasure? You can have it. I left everything I own in one place. Now you just have to find it."
"Remember, there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel."
"I'm the man who's going to be the Pirate King!!"
"Don't worry, I'll find Riku and the king. I promise."
"The dreams of pirates? THEY'LL NEVER END!!"
"Pitiful heartless, mindlessly collecting hearts. The rage of the Keyblade releases those hearts. They gather in darkness, masterless and free… Until they weave together to make Kingdom Hearts."
Monkey D. Luffy opened his eyes and jumped out of bed.
"HAH-HAH-HAH-HAH-HAH!!" He laughed. "Wow, I feel GREAT!! I can't remember the last time I slept that good!"
Luffy squatted down and did his morning stretches. When he was finished, he looked around and saw that none of the other men were in their beds.
"That's weird," he said. "I'm usually the first one awake. Aw, CRAP!! They must've started breakfast without me!"
Luffy quickly changed into his regular attire of a red sleeveless vest and blue trousers. He placed his precious straw hat on his head, and put on his sandals. Luffy then looked at his new 700 million beli bounty hanging on the wall, smiling in pride.
As he turned to head towards the kitchen, Luffy suddenly felt something in his pocket. He reached inside and pulled out a keychain. The loop was bronze, and the chain was silver. At the end of it was the symbol of the Straw Hat Pirates, made out of pure gold.
"COOOOL!" Luffy yelled in amazement. "Wait a minute. Where did this come from? Hmmmmmm…" Luffy scratched his head, trying to figure out the origin of the keychain. After a little bit, he dismissed the thought. "Oh, well. I guess it's just a mystery keychain."
Luffy ran out the door, eager to show his crew his newest discovery. He imagined that Usopp and Chopper would marvel at the keychain, and Nami would try to buy it from him. The rest of the crew probably wouldn't care that much. Zoro and Sanji would be arguing as usual; Robin would be reading one of her books; Brooke would be playing amazing music on the violin; and Franky would be refueling on cola.
Luffy grinned as he dashed around the corner, ready to start the new day.
"SANJI!" Luffy yelled as he opened the kitchen door. "FOO-"
He stopped mid-sentence. His mouth hung open wide.
The kitchen was completely empty.
Luffy ran out the door and jumped onto the lawn deck. He climbed up to the observatory where Zoro usually trained and Nami worked on her maps. He looked in the infirmary, to see if Chopper was creating medicine. He checked in the women's cabin, the men's cabin, Usopp's Workshop, and every other part of the Thousand Sunny.
Luffy finally collapsed onto the figurehead. "WHERE THE HELL IS EVERYONE?!!!" He yelled.
CRRRAAAAAAAAASSSSSHHHHHHH!!!
His crewmates, his best friends, had vanished without a trace. But what Luffy didn't know was that this was the beginning of his biggest adventure yet.
Damn it, what's going on? Where am I? WHOA!! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING?!! Next time: "A new adventure! A lone pirate on Destiny Island!
