So I realize there isn't much stories about Tobias being abused by his father, Marcus. They only want Tris to seem like the main character, but fanfiction are about making something new, so i'm making one about Tobias.

LINE BREAK

In a small room in Abnegation where bar-like frames on the window make abstract looking shadows on the floor, sat Tobias in a chair, reading a book. He looked about 8, but it wasn't just any book; the funeral speech for his mother's death. One tear slid down under his chin and landed on the page as it soaked into the small book. Tobias was sad that his mother died; but now he was left alone with Marcus for the man to let his anger on his son. Marcus never cared for Tobias that way, and probably never would.

Meanwhile the child's veins turned to ice as he heard a familiar slam of a car door from outside; he continued on his book, but his mental state told him to run and save himself. But when the door opened his body went rigid. "What did you do at school today?" Marcus asked gruffly. Tobias choke on his words before finally stuttering, "I-i lear-ned about h-how we ch-oose our f-faction."

Marcus nodded. "You're going to choose Abnegation so we'll never be apart. We can be happy again." Tobias gulped, before a sudden spark ignited. "We wouldn't be happy together, you're always letting out your anger towards me. It hurts and it needs to stop." Marcus bared his teeth and his eyes turned into pits, "You're selfish to think of yourself." He loosed his belt buckle and smirked at the fear in his son's eyes, "This is for your own good." The belt lashed at the child and wrapped around his arm-

Tobias woke up with a small shriek that startled the young Tris awake, "Shh. It's okay Four. I'm promising that." She rubbed his back as he slowly laid down, melting into her touch softly as he began to quietly make the cutest snores ever. Like a wheezing kitten. Tris sighed, tracing the factions on his back before kissing his neck gently and relished the hitching in his breath, it was so cute. But ever since Jeanine and Dauntless traitors were looking for the perfect Divergent, they found out the younger would most likely open the box better.

So the aptitude test was lowered down to 12yr olds instead. So when her and Tobias chose Dauntless and passed the initiation, the world went into chaos as they both were discovered Divergent; they've been hiding ever since until Four found out his mother Evelyn was alive, so they've been staying in the factionless city ever since. They were planning to move into Candor to get the rest of the loyal Dauntless and unite them with factionless to end Erudite. But it would have to wait. Tobias's memories of his father have been becoming more severe lately, and Tris was afraid because Marcus wanted to finish what he started; to break Four into a shell.
