The past that I hate!

Rikki's POV.

Hi, everyone!

My name's Rikki Chadwick and I'm a girl who also happen to be a mermaid. Yes, you heard me. A mermaid.

I wasn't always the strong hard confident sassy rebel-girl that you all know me as.

Once back in the days I was a sweet little lame kid, just like anyone of you. I usually don't admit that though. Not even Cleo and Emma know everything about my past.

For example, like when I was only 10 years old...

Flashback to when Rikki was 10 years old.

Rikki is at the playground, building a sand-castle.

"Hi, I'm Rikki!" says Rikki to another girl who walk past.

"Why would I wanna talk to you?" says the other girl.

"That was rude!" says Rikki. "I just wanted to be friendly..."

"I already have all the friends I need. Bye, freak!" says the other girl.

"Wait...!" says Rikki.

"Loser!" says the other girl as she throw sand right into Rikki's face and walk away.

"Daddy!" screams Rikki as she begin to cry and run back home.

Present time.

Oh, man! I was such a fuckin' wimp back then.

Okey, it's not always a good thing to be the badass hard-edge rebel that I am now either, but I won't let people mess with me again. Never!

Over the years I learned to be strong and to fight anyone who think they can treat me like crap.

That's why I am the way I am these days.

By the time I was 13 I had become much less of a lame kid and a lot more like the Rikki I am today...

Flashback to when Rikki was 13 years old.

Like always no one wanna sit with Rikki at lunch in school.

"I wish they at least gave us something that doesn't taste like they'd pull it out of a monkey's ass..." says Rikki, who doesn't like the school-food.

"Hi! Can I sit with you?" says a girl named Tammy.

"No! You're not a friend of mine. I don't like you. Get lost!" says Rikki with an emotion-less voice without even looking at the other girl.

"You're not nice..." says Tammy.

"You're not nice!" says Rikki in a sarcastic tone, doing a very bad and un-friendly impression of Tammy.

"Fine! I know when I'm not welcome..." says Tammy as she walk away.

"Dumb bitch!" says Rikki with her typical un-happy, but also casual voice.

Present time.

My dad showed me that I need some edge to survive. People like me can't be all sweet and nice. That sort of lifestyle may work for chicks like Cleo, but that's not really my thing. I could never be a cute feminine girly-girl. Though I wouldn't exactly refer to myself as a tomboy either.

I guess you could say that I'm a girl with a flamin' spirit.

Someday I'll tell Em and Cleo about my stupid lame past, but for now it's my hidden secret.

That's it!

Bye!
