Hibiki sat on his bed in his quarters, staring up at alien posters that
Dita had put up today. They were monstrous and Hibiki didn't like being
compared to them. Of course Hibiki didn't like much of anything Dita did.
She was such a hassle, all ways chasing him and calling him Mr. Alien. If
he had had a choice he would leave Nirvana immediately. If he knew where
they were and his Dread wasn't being repaired, that would be possible.
Hibiki stood up and walked to the door. Suddenly, the door swung open and there stood Dita. A large tray with delicious looking food was placed in his arms. Hibiki placed it on his table and turned angrily towards Dita.
"You know you're not supposed to come to my quarters!" snapped Hibiki.
"But, Mr. Alien, I was just bringing your breakfast." Smiled Dita, " I made it myself."
"Just get out and go away." Hibiki said furiously.
Dita stared blankly at him and didn't budge. Dita had worked hard to make the food and she wanted to see if he liked it. Not wanting to give in, Hibiki stormed past her.
"If you won't leave, then I will,"
He began walking away, leaving a shocked Dita alone. After storming through half Nirvana, Hibiki walked into an empty room. There was a long sofa with a few plants around it under a window that reached from one wall to the other.
Hibiki jumped on the sofa and closed his eyes. Misty slowly crept out of a corner. She walked silently towards Hibiki. Her love seemed so angry, but still cute. Carefully sitting beside him, Misty cuddled against him. Hibiki opened his eyes and panicked when he saw her.
"Get off of me!" he cried.
Misty snuggled closer and kissed Hibiki lightly on the cheek. Hibiki cried out and shoved her off. Misty laughed and pounced on him, hugging him tightly. Hibiki tried desperately to get her off of him. Finally Hibiki succeeded and he jumped away from her.
"Leave me alone," he cried.
Hibiki ran out of the room with misty in pursuit. He turned around and saw her gaining on him. Panicking, Hibiki sprinted around the area.
Dita sadly left the kitchen after talking to Ezra. She felt terrible about bothering Mr. Alien, but even worse because his food was cold. It would b hard to make it up to him. Maybe she could make something better. Dita shook her head and tried to smile. She was good at helping others but her smile didn't seem to work for her. Hibiki swerved around the corner and crashed into Dita. He jumped off of her and backed against a wall. Dita slowly got up and blushed.
"Quick, you have to help," Hibiki breathed heavily, "Misty is chasing me!"
Dita thought for a moment then smiled. Here was her chance to make her mistakes up to Mr. Alien.
"Quick, hide in the kitchen!" Dita suggested.
"Hibiki nodded at her in gratitude and turned. He ran around the corner and slammed into the door. The door opened and Hibiki ducked in.
Dita heard Misty running down the hall. She crept against the wall and stuck her foot out as misty hit the corner. Misty toppled to the ground with a loud thud. It made Dita feel terrible but she knew she had to help Mr. Alien. Misty glared at Dita furiously as she got to her feet.
"Why did you do that!?" yelled Misty. She rubbed her elbow and glared at Dita. "I was looking for Mr. Alien, and you ran into me," lied Dita.
"You just want him to yourself!" Misty accused.
She shoved Dita out of her way and stormed down the hall. Dita stared after Misty, who turned towards the kitchen. Hopefully, she wouldn't find Mr. Alien.
