Flowers For Mummy:

Audrey glanced out the window of the cottage, out into the garden. Her daughter, Molly, was wandering around the garden. She smiled as she watched the five-year-old redhead bending over a few roses, smelling them.

"Mummy," Lucy tugged on her dress causing Audrey to look down at her second daughter. "Play."

The woman chuckled and shook her head as she bent down and picked the three-year-old up. "Now, now Lucy, we'll play later, it's time for a nap."

The three-year-old protested a bit, but Audrey carried her into her room and set her in her bed that was across the room for Molly's. She was used to having protests during nap time. She kissed Lucy on the top of her head before making her way out of the room, shutting the door softly behind her.

As Audrey made her way down the hall to the kitchen, the door to the side of the house opened. She looked up as Molly came inside, tracking mud in. "Molly Annabelle, don't you track mud on my newly cleaned floors!" She chided the five-year-old. Sure, the witch could have used magic to clean the mud off the floor but she wanted her daughter to learn not to track mud in when she came inside.

The redhead only giggled, right hand behind her back. "Mummy! I have something for you.!"

Audrey smirked at her daughter before kneeling down so she was at Molly's height. "Oh? And what is it?"

A moment later Molly pulled out a few flowers out from behind her back. The small bouquet was made up of daisies, dandelions, and buttercups. "Here, flowers for you, Mummy!"

The witch smiled as she reached over and took the flowers from her daughter. "Thank you, love. They're lovely. Shall we put them in a vase?"

Audrey stood up and a vase came down from the cabinet and filled itself up with water. Molly stood there watching, enchanted. She loved it whenever her parents did magic around her and her sister, it was amazing to watch and she knew one day she'd be able to do it.

Audrey walked over to the small vase, setting the small flowers inside. "There we go dear, how does that look?"

Molly giggled again. "Pretty! Tomorrow I'll pick even more flowers for you, Mummy."

Audrey smiled at her, chuckling a bit. "And we'll get another vase and put them in it."
