"Well, Gajeel, how does it look?" Levy raised one arm above her head, and glanced over her shoulder to peer at him. She stood topless before him, and must have not noticed the reflection of her bare chest in the mirror in front of her.
Gajeel's eyes shot open in surprise. He tried to focus on his work instead of the gorgeous, half naked woman in front of him. Her back was freshly adorned with a swirling pastel tattoo, it extended across her shoulders and down her arms, stopping half way down her forearm. The tattoo pictured three butterflies of different colors, in representation of her parents and brother she had lost when she was a young girl. The cherry blossoms represented the new growth in her life after loosing everything, and gentle swirling arches connected it all together.
"See for yourself." Gajeel murmured as he held up a hand mirror so she could see her new skin in the reflection.
Levy could only gasp quietly, holding her hand over her mouth.
"Oh, Gajeel… I can't thank you enough…. it's wonderful."
But Gajeel was avoiding eye contact with her, trying his hardest to avoid a nose bleed and staring down at his desk as a obliviously topless Levy admired his hard work in the mirror. After a few moments, Levy snapped out of her adornment and realized that Gajeel was as red as a tomato, eyes wondering everyone but in her direction.
A shrill cry could be heard through out the building as the realization that she forgot to hold the towel up to her chest and her reflection in the mirror was evident. Quickly grabbing her tank top and pulling it over her head as voices were heard outside the door, "Gajeel? What the hell is going on? We're coming in!"
As Gajeel's coworkers Erza, Natsu, and Grey piled into the room in fear.
Levy and Gajeel both stood awkwardly, a deep blush over their faces. "I uh…. I didn't realize there was a mirror… I was t-topless for a moment without realizing I forgot the towel to cover my chest with…. it's not Gajeel's fault," Levy chuckled awkwardly, hiding her face in her hands.
"Nothin' is happenin' here, just go on." Gajeel practically growled at his friend's, desperate for them to leave so they could be embarrassed without an audience.
They nodded and left the room holding back laughter, and as soon as the door shut, Levy and Gajeel could hear them burst into an uncontrollable fit of giggles.
"Oh man, poor Gajeel," Natsu said, rather loudly, "finally gets to tattoo the girl he has a crush on, only to embarrass himself." Their laughter and voices quieted as they walked further away, and Gajeel was left alone, with Levy, who heard every word Natsu blabbed. Clenching his fists at his side, his eyes shot daggers at the closed door and he swore to himself he would be that stupid Salamader into the ground after this.
Levy stood, blush finally starting to fade and a smile creeping up on her face. "Well… now that you've seen me topless, I think you at least owe me dinner… how 'bout a date?"
