'I don't understand why you're still here! You've seen what I am, no one could care about a monster! Why are you here?!' A tear rolls down his cheek, but he doesn't wipe it away. 'WHY?!'
'BECAUSE I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU!' Shock flashes across his face.
'What did you say?' he whispers. 'I love you' and he's crashing down to his knees. '
Why?' he says, ever so softly. Her eyes widen, and she walks over to him, kneeling in front of him, cupping his face in her hands, leaning forward until their foreheads are touching.
'I saw that you were perfect and I loved you' He releases a small gasp, barely audible, but it is enough. She leans back and tilts his chin up, forcing him to look at her. 'Then I saw that you weren't and I loved you even more'. He doesn't move, and it seems like an eternity before she decides she should leave. She starts to stand up, only to find herself pulled back. He holds her hands inside his, close to his heart.
'Don't go, I-I need you' She crouches down again, relief washing over her.
'I'm going to be here for you, always and forever.' She says.
'Stay. Stay and never leave me
. This is just something I wrote the other day when I was bored. I know, It can barely be called a one-shot, but I wanted to put it up because no one has ever read my writing before and I guess I just wanted some opinions. Tell me what you think.
