She wished that she could have taken it all back. She never meant any of it. Well…she did…but that was only at that moment.
"I hate you! You fucking moron"
Those two lines. She saw hurt, agony; disbelief and fear flit through his eyes all at once. She saw his jaw line harden when he clenched his teeth. She instantly regretted her words. She willed herself to apologize. But this time… this time he pushed her far too hard. She tried to tell him. She really did. But every time that she came close to spilling the beans he brushed her off! Just like that! As if she was a bag of meaningless. She didn't get it. Sometimes he acted like he cared for her and then the other times he behaves like such a douchebag. Today he insulted her in every way possible. Physically, mentally & verbally.
She wanted to tell him sooo badly! It was like a bomb wanting to explode out of her! But if he didn't want to listen then she couldn't live. MUSTN'T live. Just not an option. He had to reciprocate. She made up her mind. She would have to take a drastic measure. A really drastic one.
Her mind then focused on the scene in front of her. Lovely green cliffs…. Baby blue sky filled with clouds that reminded her of Howalon… And sooo much more… She shifted and then stood over the edge of the bridge. Below her, 500 feet away, lay her solution. Her savior. Her saving grace. The bottom of the dam. Her future. She closed her eyes and got ready to jump. She touched the Alice stone he gave her the week earlier. She felt him with Ruka somewhere in Central Town. She knew he could read her mind the same she could right now because of the stone...
And so she thought…
"I'm so sorry Natsume. I never meant to fall in love with your sister. With Aoi. But still…it happened."
I love you Aoi. I really do...
She jumped. the air whoosed around her. She whispered it one more time. She felt pain all over her.
