Authors note: I really, really hated this scene in Stolen Earth so I wrote my own version of it.
The four of them stood there looking into their screens. Half grinning that there was still hope left, half worried. All knowing if they don't find the Doctor all hope was lost. Suddenly a fifth window popped up. It was grey and buzzing.
"You don't think…?" Martha asked worriedly
"They can't have found us" Harriet exclaimed "the signal is hidden"
The image cleared and a blonde girl stood there grinning. Jack, Harriet and Sarah Jane stood there gobsmacked. Martha confused.
"Impossible" Harriet breathed "you're supposed to be dead"
She shrugged "I like to do the impossible. Good to see you again, you have come a long way Harriet"
Harriet let out a soft sob, Sarah Jane had a few tears on her face and Jack was dancing a victory dance.
"I knew it" he said pumping a fist in the air "nothing says the Doctors army with out you leading it"
"You're alive" Sarah Jane breathed
"Yes. It doesn't matter how many times you say it. Because it ain't changing" the blonde said happily
"Sorry but whom are you?" Martha asked looking annoyed
"I could ask the same thing Miss Jones but I think you already know me" the blonde said "at least I hope you do."
"But how are you alive?" Sarah Jane asked
"I didn't die" she whispered "I got trapped. Trapped in a parallel universe"
"The parallel universe suited you" Jack said "you look even more beautiful"
"Stop it" Harriet, Sarah Jane, Rose, Gwen and Ianto said
Jack pouted and muttered something about them channelling the Doctor's spirit.
Martha gasped "you're Rose"
Rose smiled "he talked about me?"
"All the time. I used to be jealous of you. Still am in a way"
"You shouldn't be" Rose said "because if you travelled with the Doctor. It means you're brilliant"
"Don't mean to interrupt the reunion" Harriet said "but we need to get the Doctor here now. Having Rose here helps. But it's like only having half a body. It's not enough"

The screens popped up. Four of them on his screen. Sarah Jane Smith with a young boy. Jack and his team. Martha and her mother. Last but not least, never least Rose with two familiar people behind her.
"Mum! Granddad!" Donna squealed "you're all right!"
"Wouldn't even be alive if it wasn't for this lovely young lady" Wilf said "see I told you Sylvia, I told you having a web cam was useful. Didn't know it would help to save the universe though"
