They say people are serene in death. Well I certainly think so.
My death was graceful, wasting away in the flower field, free like the wind I had truly longed to be.
I followed her scent till I found her, a rose in a field of daisys.
My heart was still aching for one thing though, it was longing for...
I stepped closer and she raised her head...
...him...
She smiled weakly, thinking I had followed the wrong scent.
Foolish me, having to be leaking miasma all over, clouding the air around us. A cloud of death, as it saddingly was.
But I had come here to hopefully save her, nad if not, say one last farewell.
As surprised as I was, I couldn't linger on it.
I had to hurry, I had to tell her before she is gone to me.
The pain nulled my senses and I grabbed my chest in a vain effort to contain it.
She was in so much pain, I couldn't stop it, I couldn't end her suffering.
I gasped for breath, as I slowly started to crumble...
I could smell my brother on the way, but she was already disappearing...
... with a smile on my face.
She happy, in a better place. Free...
... free like the wind...
A/N: I felt inspired to write this... I don't know why... I really wanted to... I hope you people will like my version of Kagura's death scene.
