Kankri sat curled up on a couch watching a movie, his legs and the lower portion of his face hidden in his read sweater when he hears footsteps coming down the stairs
"Cronus…?"
A head bearing tousled, black hair and violet eyes peeked around the corner
"Kan? Are you ok"
Kankri sniffled but just curled into his sweater more
"….Yea im okay"
Cronus thought for a moment, then ran upstairs grabbing every blanket he could find and running back downstairs
"uhh….Cronus, what are all those blankets for?"
Cronus silently sat on the couch and hugged kankri, bundling them both in all of the blankets
"now, Kan you need to tell me what's wrong"
Kankri looked down and started crying, clinging on to Cronus like a lifeline
"I-Im so scared of losing everyone important to me, I know that I talk a lot and annoy everyone sometimes, but really I just want to help them and im scared that they're going to abandon me-"
Kankri was promptly cut off by a soft, tender kiss from Cronus and soothing hands combing through his hair
"Kankri…even if you can be annoying and talkative, we all know you are just trying to help, and nobody is going to leave you, especially not me"
Kankri sniffled and looked up at Cronus
"you won't leave?"
Cronus kissed the tip of his nose and smiled brightly at him
"you can't get rid of me that easily ya'know"
Kankri smiled and hugged Cronus, burying his head in the crook of Cronus' neck and snuggling up to him, all the while smiling contentedly
They both stayed like that, watching the movie and snuggling for the rest of the night, when Kankri woke up the next morning, all stress was gone, and he just wanted to stay there forever…
