She knocks on his door at 2am on a Saturday night and really it takes all he has not to tear it off its hinges.
And yeah they haven't talked in like three months and the whole Cassidy/Dallas situation is hanging over their heads and yes occasionally at board meetings when they're discussing his new album you can cut into the sexual tension with a knife but it's not like this is awkward.

So yea she runs to him when her latest boyfriend Elliot breaks her heart (they all saw it coming even her because really Elliot was more of a player than Dallas.)
But it's not Trish who let's her in at two in the morning, and it's not Dez who she wakes up to the next day after crying her eyes out.
It's Austin.
And really it's always going to be only Austin.
