Bent over the proffered hand, Sakura carefully glided the brush over the nail; a smooth coat of vibrant orange was produced for her efforts. Sunshine blond hair bent forward and tickled her cheek as a giggle escaped an open mouth.

Sakura raised her head and watched her teammates silently communicate. Naruto was all smiles and teeth, blue eyes flashing with different shades of blue and eyelashes flattering when he teased. His cheeks often puffed out when he was sulking, angry or annoyed.

Sasuke only allowed small quirking of his lips to show his displeasure and amusement and small grunts to escape his mouth. Naruto was always astounded at Sasuke's wide range of vocabulary.

And currently Naruto was pouting at Sasuke, who raised an elegant eyebrow at the blond and Sakura couldn't help but give them a fond smile. Sasuke glances back at her and gave her a small smirk.

The reason for the smirk? Well Naruto was currently in a blue dress with a small orange bow, which is why Sakura decided on orange for the nail polish. Sasuke was currently collecting fodder for embarrassment and Sakura was just having fun.

Ino generally didn't let Sakura dress her up, screeching in that teasing tone of hers, that Sakura's giant forehead couldn't come up with anything resembling fashionable.

Sakura hadn't talked to Ino in a while. Maybe she should stop by the shop and chatter with her old friend?

The majority of her brain hummed in agreement but one part whispered at her, the same place where Inner Sakura used to reside, Ino's dead, can't you accept that? But she swatted it away that annoying little whisper.

She bent over the hand again and scolded Naruto for poking Sasuke with his foot and Sasuke could you please put the shiny kunai away? Thank you.

She did her best to ignore the people in white suits that her senses kept pushing at the forefront of her mind. What? Why would there be anyone here? In my room?

Part of her noticed that there were slits instead of round pupils in Naruto's eyes along with bits of red and purple floating along with the impossible blue. And Sasuke exactly didn't look normal either. He was a pale grey (but wasn't he a normal Uchiha pale before?) with strange twisted markings covering half of his body.

Sakura gave a soft whimper as the people in white were pushed forward. Desperately turning to the arguing pair, Sakura attempted to dollify Naruto and put everything away.
