Rain, that's all that Forks was good about. I wasn't used to the weather yet, I was only used to Phoenix's sun, so it was a big change. It was my first day back at school, and its new...so I try to wear something suitable for the weather, I ended up dressing like a normal Phoenix girl would.

My first period was a double, science; fortunately I'd done this before so I mostly knew it all.

At lunch, a group of 5 pale skinned teens were sitting there; one of them caught my eye. Tall, golden-red eyes, thick bronze hair, I knew that it was the guy I want from this 400 teens school.

My next period was biology, as soon as I walked into class, there was only one seat left, and that one seat, was next to Edward. I quietly went and sat myself next to him, pulling my chair as far away as i can and then sitting on the edge like I was just about to fall off.

"Hey...You're the new girl in school right? The one from Phoenix?" Edward had just talked to me, I was turning from pink, to red, and it stood out clearly on pale skin.

"Yeah, I am." I stammered quietly, I turned my head and thought to myself, 'WHY ME?! WHY ME?! WHY ME?! WHYYY DO I HAVE TO BE SEATED NEXT TO -HIM-?'

I turned my mind upon class and what Mr Banner had been saying about microscopes Mr Banner then came around handing each pair (in my case Edward and I), a microscope and a set of bacterium. I wrote down my answers in my book, we took turns. I knew the answers; I had already done this same set back at my old school in Phoenix. Edward knew them too.

After biology, was lunch break. I sat at my table with my friends which made me feel welcome.

"Edward never talks to anyone; I wonder why he was talking to you in biology. They say the girls here are too...too; it's complicated to explain. But, you know what I mean, don't you?" Jessica, one of my new friends had told me that so...it must be true, but I won't bet $100 on it.

The whole day passed by slowly. Every time Edward and his family walked passed, I blushed. Before I could even get to my truck, I stopped in my tracks and looked over. There was Edward standing outside it.

"Um..Hi Edward, can you please move from my way, I need to get home," I pleaded nervously. "I'm in a rush today."

"oh, don't worry, take your time, I just wanted to ask you a question though." He said in his cool calming voice.

'Uh oh, no, no, no, no! If it is what I think it I it is. Then I'll say I'll think about it over night. Yeah, that should be right, he won't mind.' I thought to myself.

"I was wondering, since you're new, would you like me to show you around town? Maybe have a bite to eat afterwards?

'Great, it's not what I thought.' I said to myself. I have no idea why, but I flushed red, and muttered.

"Yeah, sure would be nice to, see you at 6 then!" NO! What had I done?! I walk of still red, I stumbled a bit as I got in. In the car I drove of quietly listening to the radio. As soon as I got home, I ran through the door, up the stairs and jumped on my bed screaming "I'm GOING OUT WITH EDWARD! I'M GOING OUT WITH EDWARD! YEAH!"
