Sinking slowly
into the depths
It is dark!
There is no return.
It scares me.
No one ever leaves
The dark
alive.
Ever so slightly
losing my mind.
It is fine.
I am all right.
For I know
there is a reason
I act this
way.
Steadily and surely
dying inside.
It is sad.
I want to cry.
But I know
I will rise
above.
Above the darkness.
