Gryffindor had defeated Slytherin in the first game of the season. In fact, it was a painful landslide for Slytherin. The earned no points, and it was the worst game they had played in over 50 years.

"I suppose our practicing paid off then!" Tatiana Wood, the seeker, joked. All of the students at the table were cheerful, especially Roxanne and James.

"Oh yes," Roxanne agreed. "And not so bad for such a tiny chaser. He was probably so small the keeper couldn't even see him!" She nudged her third year cousin in the gut. James hit her back jokingly and took another bite of his biscuit.

"Not so loud Roxy," David Sherwin, a beater, muttered. "The Slytherins are listening."

"Let them listen," Roxanne shrugged. "They've got nothing on our skills."

David acknowledged Roxy by returning her shrug. The seventh year then got up, said goodbye, and headed to class.

Tatiana began to examine the food in front of her and then put some on her plate.

As Roxanne was filling her soup bowl, she was hit on the shoulder, causing a small amount of Tomato Amaretto to fall on her skirt.

She turned around to find two Slytherin girls behind her. One was Darci Higgs, the Slytherin seeker, who was one year ahead of Roxanne. With Darci was one of her friends.

"Can I help you?" Roxanne asked.

Completely ignoring Roxanne's question, Darci acted as her usual rude self.

"Nice game yesterday," said Darci. "Really nice…not bad for a Twist like you."

"A Twist?" Tatiana asked coldly. "What are you talking about?"

"I mean Roxanne." Darci's smirk grew bigger. "Allow me to demonstrate!"

Darci pulled her wand out of her robes and brought over two ice cream cones from the Slytherin table. One was chocolate, and the other was vanilla.

"You disgust me, Roxanne." Darci licked the vanilla cone while glaring at the Gryffindor.

"What's your problem?" Roxanne asked.

"Not my problem," Darci replied. "Your problem." She then licked the chocolate cone and continued.

"You see, when it comes to ice cream, you only get chocolate or vanilla. That is the only way for it to look normal. When you twist them together, you get a filthy mess…quite like yourself, Weasley."

She smashed them together and twisted them over Roxanne's head. A group of Slytherin's began a chant at their table…Twist! Twist! Twist! Twist!

Roxanne stood up, took out her wand and shot a spell at Darci, sending her flying across the room. The entire Great Hall noticed now, as well as the professors. McGonagall sent thunder over the ceiling, startling the students and bringing them to silence.

The entire Slytherin table continued to laugh. James stood up and yelled at them to shut up, but that only made them laugh harder.

Roxanne sat back down and looked at her reflection in her soup. A small tear fell down her cheek.
