Prompt: Fluffy

She pressed the fluffy bunny against her face. It was almost as old as she was and even after two and a half years, it still smelled like home.

"Thank you for getting this," Lindsay said as Danny climbed into bed next to her. It went a little above and beyond the normal boyfriend duties to go across town to get a tiny, blue stuffed bunny for your crazy girlfriend.

"No problem. Does it help at all?"

She nodded and smiled at him, "I'm sorry I'm so crazy."

He smiled and kissed her head, "You're not crazy. Do you…want to talk about it? The dream, I mean."

"I…I don't know. It's been a while since I had one. Not since the trial. I thought, it sounds crazy, but I thought that with him in jail it would all just go away. Man, that is dumb. No one just gets over mass murder."

Danny pulled her closer and nuzzled her ear, "You've been doing great dealing with all of it, but you're right. It will probably never go away, but neither will I. So if you want to talk or cuddle or…if you want some ancient stuffed bunny without any distinguishing facial features left you just let me know."

She giggled a little and snuggled closer, "Okay that sounds good. Can we stay like this for a while?"

He nodded, "Long as you want, Montana."
