The Beginning of a New Beginning
Preface
I was sitting there, outside of Starbucks and this boy walks past me with slight spiky hair and a he wore a devilish grin on his face, I knew him. John Theo Cahill Ambrose. He is the boy I have watched for many years. My sister had tried to make him a vampire about 15 years ago…. A slight grin spread across my face.
"Hey." I said to him. "Hi." He looked at me and I blushed and smiled. "Would you like to sit down?" I asked in what I thought was my cool voice. He chuckled and nodded. I offered him the seat and he sat. "I'm Amanda May" I smiled my sweet country girl accent coming out. "John, John Theo Cahill Ambrose." I smiled at how cool he thought he was being. I grinned. "Nice to meet you, John."
That is when it all began…the beginning of a love the beginning of a broken heart and the beginning of mystery.
Chapter 1
It was a month later a rendezvous or two later and I'm pregnant…He is a demi-god/Viking…and I'm a vampire…therefore this pregnancy was going by fast…I knew I loved him, I have for years he just didn't know. Now I know he loves me too. We are having a little girl, Zara Kayla Ambrose. We're excited.
I walk into the room my stomach bulging like I'm 5 months pregnant and I sit on his lap and press his hand to my stomach the baby is kicking wildly."Wow." He whispered."I've never felt anything like that." He leaned up and kissed me feverishly. After he pulled away, I smiled and said, "YOU would find it cooler if it was inside of YOU."He just grinned, knowing I was right. I eventually hauled myself off him knowing his leg was probably asleep and walks into the kitchen looking for something to snack on. "hmm" I murmured to myself. I then felt a strong pair of arms encircle my not so small waist. "I could give you a snack." He murmured in my ear. His voice was soft, husky, and velvety all at the same time. I involuntarily shivered; turning in his arms I kissed his cheek gently."Not until Zara is born I told you, love." He frowned; heartbreakingly he pulled away from the embrace and of course. I gave in.
