Chapter 1
Strange Powers
Li slowly walked home from a long day at high school. He hated how he was so tired by the end of the day that he couldn't even have the strength to practice his martial arts. "So Li, how's Sakura been treating you," Mei Ling asked with an edge to her voice. "She's not going anywhere at the moment." Li said knowing how Mei Ling was so jealous and no matter how nice Sakura was to her Mei Ling just always hated her. She squinted her eyes at him and walked off "I'm getting ice cream!" She snapped as she left. Li kept walking until he reached Sakura's house, Sakura was not at school like she always was this week, He'd been visiting her daily to see how she was because she had become ill.
He knocked on the door and Sakura answered it "Hey Li, I was just making tea for me and you, ummm." She took a long pause and glanced past Li to Mei Ling "Hey, you want to come in too? I could get you some tea.." Mei Ling was already inside the house. Sakura lead them both into the living room, and handed them some tea. Mei Ling still had the ice cream cone in her hand and had a huge smirk on her face. "Oops!" she said as she purposely dropped her ice cream on the rug. "Oh, I'll clean it up, no worries; just let me get the cloth." When Sakura tired to get up she sneezed and fell back down, "Let me clean that up Sakura, your sick so just sit back down." Li said and waved his fist at Mei Ling when Sakura wasn't looking.
Kero slowly flew down from Sakura's room and sat next to Sakura "Did I miss something? I was having my beauty sleep." He yawned. Everyone was silent. "What?" Kero asked. Li stopped cleaning the mess and sat up for a second. "What!?" Kero demanded then he sensed it. Something very strong, but it wasn't evil magic, it was good, but something else he could sense also, something evil. "I can tell there's too of them, whatever they are good and bad.." Kero said. Mei Ling sat there clueless, "HEELLLOO!!!???? Someone here doesn't have magical crap powers to tell what the hell is going on!!!" She snapped and got up "Well whatever, I'll catch you freaks later." Li glanced at her and made a motion to zipper her lips. Mei Ling stuck her tongue out but then her mouth was glued shut. Li smirked as she tried to open it.
Sakura and Li were off looking for the source. "I can feel it fading, but growing at the same time." Li said. "Follow me!" Kero said. He was in his true form. Sakura caught a glimpse of something near by. "Hey, look at that." She said. Over by the Tokyo tower were two angels fighting. "What are they.angels?" Sakura asked. Li was on Kero's back and Sakura too. Yue slowly came up behind them "You sensed it too, I'd imaging they are both strong to set off great signals." He said. Kero nodded "Yes, but what the hell are they, Yue?" They landed on top of a building to get a better view One angel had black wings and was heavily dressed in black leather and other materials with a lot of buckles. Her hair was long and flowing and there were black markings on her face, the other was almost the same except white wings and a white dress with light blue hair. Both had swords and other metallic objects on their belts. Yue gasped "I know what those two are! And it isn't good..."
