this is my first fanfic ever! So please be nice. Just a short eclare one shot.
Here I am on a Saturday just sitting in my living room with nothing to do. I seriously cannot describe in words how bored I am. It's the last weekend before we have to go back to school for the end of Christmas break.
I sigh and get up to check my phone. 3 new messages! Blinks across the screen. I open them and 2 are from Eli and 1 from Alli. I delete the one from Alli because I'm still mad at her for taking the lying and cheating drew back. Both texts from Eli are just him asking me to hang out.
I really like Eli we've been friends since he ran over my glasses at the beginning of the year. He is so sarcastic and witty and he bugs me to death. But I love him for it. WAIT. Did I just say love? Oh my god I'm in love with Eli! He cannot know. Just a week ago he told me about his dead ex Julia. He also told me he likes me A LOT.
DING DONG
Who could be at the door on a Saturday night? I sigh and get up and answer the door. There standing tall with a large bag was Eli. "Umm…hi?" I say as more of a question. "sup Edwards." He smirks and walks in. Oh that smirk makes me melt! "Nothing, just sitting around. May I ask why you are here?"
He didn't say anything he just stared at me for a second then ran over and kissed me. He pulls away first and I'm a little disappointed at the loss. "What was that for?" I question. "I'm ready to love again. I've been thinking a lot since I told you about Julia, and I'm finally accepting that everything happens for a reason. I still love her and miss her and I always will. But I think i…..i….." he trailed off. "What is it Eli?" "I love you Clare. I have since I ran over your glasses and stared into your gorgeous blue eyes." I was speechless. I jus stared at him for a second and his face changed from hopeful to hurt.
He turned to walk away, but I grabbed his arm. I spun him around and kissed him with all the passion I could muster. I pulled out of the kiss and hugged him. "I love you too Eli!" and with that he picked me up and spun me around. "so does this mean we are together?" he looked nervous. "what do you think?" and I kissed him. "I'll take that as a yes." "Yes, yes you will." I giggled.
