Prompt: kisses
Jess whimpered as Adam's lips trailed over her jaw and to her neck.
This was definitely not what she had planned when she asked him to lunch. They were supposed to get a sandwich and get to know each other a little better.
Then Adam had taken her hand in his and told her how pretty she was and, well, they'd never made it out of the stairwell.
"We…we have to stop," she said and if her voice wavered just a little well, too bad.
"Okay," Adam said, his teeth joining his lips and tongue as they traveled down her throat.
"I mean it, Ross," she said, with absolutely no conviction.
"Stopping," he agreed, "Right now. What are you wearing? You smell so good." He breathed deeply and she groaned, "Strawberries?"
"N-no," she whimpered as his hands traveled to her hips and pulled her against his body, "Peach—peaches."
Adam groaned at that and the next thing she knew she was against the wall and, "Wait, wait, wait," she said, pushing him back.
His eyes were dark and he reached for her again, but his hands lowered as he saw the look on her face, "Right, right, sorry…I'm sorry."
"Don't be sorry," she said, smiling, "I liked it…a lot, its just…"
"Right, we're at work."
She nodded, "Yes, work."
He nodded again, "Maybe we could continue this after work."
She smiled again, "Your place?"
He nodded, and then grimaced, "Uh maybe you could…" he pointed to the door, "Go first."
She looked down and her eyes widened, "Oh, right okay, uh, see you later."
Jess couldn't help but look back one more time before she left. She smiled and she knew her hips swayed just a little bit more than usual with womanly pride.
So what? She was happy.
Don chuckled as she sat down, "What's so funny, Flack?"
"Nothing, nothing at all. How's Ross?"
Her eyes narrowed, "Why do you ask? And how should I know?"
Don shrugged, "Just figured he must be feeling pretty good. I always feel good when I give pretty detectives hickeys."
"Hickeys?" she said, confused for a moment, and then her eyes widened, "Oh my god."
She couldn't possible ignore Flack's chuckles as she ran to the bathroom.
Adam Ross was a dead man.
