Pokemon Arc-V

Interested in writing up a story where Yuya is a Pokemon Trainer? Then this fic has your name written all over it. (Not sure if this is how you do a challenge on here, but only one way to find out for sure).

I have here a challenge for any who dare to attempt it for a Yugioh Arc-V/Pokemon crossover, featuring the Arc-V cast as they battle it out for the title of Champion. I'm actually surprised that they're aren't that many stories like this on here, considering how much Yuya interacts with his monsters and the flashy performances he and a majority of the cast put on in their duels, which strangely makes me think of Pokemon Contests. Anyway, here's the summary:

Yuya and his childhood friend Zuzu set out on their journey through the Paradise Region. They'll encounter new friends, fierce rivals, and hidden conspiracies, as they compete to win badges from eight Battle Schools, but as Yuya struggles on deciding whether he should compete as a trainer or a Poketainer, he'll soon find himself caught up in a battle for the fate of the world, which he and Zuzu will be at the center of.

So here's what the setting is like: the region Yuya and Zuzu will travel will be called the paradise Region, and will include locations from the four dimensions, like Heartland and the City. The Duel Schools, which I've renamed Battle Schools, will serve the same purpose in the anime, only they'll double as Gym's where Yuya will have to battle either the Gym Leader, like Skip from You Show, or the school's strongest student, like Gong from the Strong Dojo. There maybe also be Contests included, but it depends on how they would fit into the story. That's about as much as I can say right now.
