This is another story me and my friend Damion thought of, we're both posting our own version of the story :D
Master…Chaos
8 years since the destruction of station square. The city has since been rebuilt into 3 parts, old Station Square, New Station Square and, Station Square. Old station square is what was rebuilt after the destruction, New station square is what has been added onto the city and station square is what wasn't affected by perfect Chaos' rampage.
Sonic woke up in the park of New Station Square as he came to, he realized that he must have dosed off while looking at the clouds. Sonic ran across the park to the chili dog stand "I'll take the usual" the man at the chili dog stand handed him two chili dogs and sonic tossed him 4 bucks. As sonic walked along the crowded streets of Station Square he put on his earphones and began listing to "Open Your Heart". He walked past several elaborate multiple story sky scrapers the elaborate statues at their base consisted of a dragon wrapped around what seemed to be a massive emerald.\
-Angel Island-
"Get off you beast" Knuckles exclaimed as he pushed a strange creature from his chest.
Knuckles cracked his fist in an attempt to intimidate the creature, but it was gone. "Where the heck did that thin-". Knuckles was stopped mid sentence by the creature as Knuckles noticed what the creature was he screamed out "CHAOS".
-New Station Square-
Sonic got back to his house in New Station Square to see Amy walking towards him.
"Sonic!"
"Hey Amy, whatsup"
"Well not much Sonic, and you?"
"Just the usual, admiring the city taking a quick jog"
"O'really huh, a jog, can I join you"
Sonic took advantage of the situation
"Sure, if you can keep up"
Sonic dashed away at his full scream and Amy screamed before he got out of earshot "That's not your jogging speed you..:" Amy's voice faded. As sonic went running through New Station Square he realized he's close to Station Square as he thought to himself "hmm I should go check on Tails".
-Tail's Workshop (Outskirts of Station Square)-
Sonic arrived at Tail's workshop and went inside "So tails whatcuh doin'" Sonic received no answer when suddenly a powerful earthquake ravished across the city.
-Angel Island-
The island lands into the water near the Mystic Ruins causing a powerful earthquake strong enough to be felt all the way by Station Square. Knuckles lies on the floor wounded the master emerald is gone.

Several Months later
"theres nothing left Amy let it go"
"NO NO NO LET ME GO SONIC"
"Amy everything's gone just please calm down"
A tear drops from Sonics eye as he holds Amy down
"c..c.c.c'cmon Amy just let it go"
"Sonic…you're crying"
Amy stops fighting Sonic's grip and se kisses him. Sonic goes along with it realizes it may be the only way to stop Amy. The two hedgehogs continue kissing on the cliff looking onto the ruins of what used to be Station Square
