It was raining in Domino City, not a heavy rain but a gentle soothing rain warm and comforting. It was raining that night as well when tragedy struck a small, group of friends where their lives would change forever,
A long figure pulls up to the Domino Cemetery a routine he has been doing every night since it had happen. The deaths of four people he held dear in his heart. No one it seems but him come to visit them, no family, no friends, and no one. He carries four white roses, one for each grave. As he places them there he cries and asks the gods why this could happen. They had their whole life in front of them to be cut short the way it did.
He thinks back to night the accident happen. Yugi was just closing the shop when his grandfather rushed in and told him there was a car accident and all the occupants had died. "Who was in the car?" Yugi inquired looking at the Television. As he watched he noticed the license plate it said "KAIBA." At that moment the phone rang it was Honda one of Yugi's best friends. "Yugi did you see the news." By this time the list of the occupants of the accident was announced. "We have just gotten news that the occupants of the car are as follows Seto Kaiba founder of Kaiba Corp. and his brother Mokuba Kaiba, his boyfriend Katsuya Jounochi and his sister Shizuka Jounochi. All died on impact."
Yugi went to the hospital to find out more on his friends and to identify the bodies. A few days later funeral services were held and they all where buried side by side. Yugi was very upset and made a nightly journey to the grave sites when he couldn't be there he requested that the roses be placed on their graves.
After the accident everyone drifted apart. Hondo and Otogi run the Game shop that Otogi owns. Anzu continued her dancing career. Ryou, and Marik went back home. Yugi still runs his grandfathers shop. This was five years ago and he stands and tells them how much he misses them. He knows this will be his last visit. In his loneliness he has made a decision to join them. No one would miss him no one would care.
The next morning the news came on with this announcement that Yugi Mouto was found dead at the gravesite of his four friends that had died 5 years ago to the day. He will be buried next to them.
The fates weave a Tapestry call life and each one of us is interwoven into this tapestry joined and connected are the threads that when one is cut are life here on earth is over and begins anew on another level of existence. This could be said of Seto, Jou, Mokuba, Shizuka, and Yugi because just like in life they are reunited in death. The End
