Barty Crouch Jr. arrived at the entrance of Godric's Hollow and walked down the empty streets. The ground was covered with a thin layer of snow and the sky was filled with stars, but he didn't pay much attention to this. At about mid-day he had received an Owl from Pandora Vaisey saying that he had to meet her in Godric's Hollow to take care of some business that had been requested by the Dark Lord. He walked with his head down and his wand clutched tightly in his hand, his tongue occasionally poking out and tasting the air. Soon a tall female figure came into view and Barty knew it was Pandora. She was standing in front of a little pink house that was surrounded by a white picket fence. She grew a large evil smile as he approached her.
"Barty." She said.
He ignored her and looked towards the house. A room inside the house on the second floor was lit. That's where she would be. Pandora and Barty jumped over the fence and blasted open the door. It all happened so fast…Barty could barely remember any of it. Pandora ran towards the kitchen to take the man and Barty ran upstairs and in the process killed a boy that couldn't be any older than 10. There was a loud bang!Pandora was still in the kitchen, fighting. Barty walked to the room at the end of the hallway. He twisted the knob, but it was locked He blasted open this door as well. There was a scream and he looked towards the far left corner of the room. Charlotte was sitting against the wall with her knees tucked in and her hands over her ears. He walked over to her, his wand in his wand. He grabbed her arm forcefully to stand her up and she attempted to free herself.
"LEROY!" She screamed. "LEROY, PLEASE!"
Barty grabbed her by the neck and held her up against the wall.
"STOP YELLING! HE'S DEAD! HE CAN'T HELP YOU!"
He stared at her watery eyes and his tongue started picking his lips more than often. It always happened when he had an adrenaline rush. His hand was wet from Charlotte's tears. She sobbed and looked him in the eyes. Barty got closer to her a sighed, putting his forehead against hers. Their faces so close together, their lips almost touching. A tear rolled down his cheek; that was the first time he had cried since he left his mother in Azkaban 8 years ago.
"Ba-Bartemius," She whispered. "Please…"
Barty took a sharp breath and pressed her neck a little harder when she use his name.
"I'm sorry," He said, taking his wand and putting it to her stomach. "I'm so sorry."
And with the whisper of the magic words, she slumped in his hand. Dropping her on the floor he walked to the door and looked back at her again. He speed-walked out of the house where Pandora stood, waiting for him. She opened her mouth to say something, but he pushed her aside. Before he apparated he was able to get a glimpse of Pandora pointing her wand at the sky and yelling: "Morsmordre!"
