He's with her, not me.
That's the only sentence that was running through Joy Mercers mind as she saw Fabina, as Amber Millington would say, cuddled together and reading a book on the couch of the Anubis house. Her best friend, her crush, her first love. All she wanted was him to love her the way he loved Nina Martin.
But she knew that would never happen. He loves Nina, anyone could tell. Even a random passerby could see how much they love each other.
Sure, he cared when Joy died, but then she was saved with the Tears of Gold, and the next day, it was as if that never happened.
And when you fast forward a few years, they're still together, plus one. They're going to be happily married with beautiful children, and Joy will have no one.
"Hey Joy." Was the phrase that snapped her out of her trance, said by Mick Campbell, Fabian's best mate. Just another thing to remind her of Fabian.
"Hey Mick." Joy said, feigning happiness. The blonde smiled at her and walked out of the room, once again, leaving Joy with the happy couple.
She quickly got up and walked to her room, throwing herself on her bed, and sobbing into her pillow.
Isn't it ironic at how her name means happiness, yet she's always so unhappy?
Alright, since I'm writing depressing things today, I want you guys to tell me in a review, who to write a depressing one-shot about, and what happened to them to make them sad. I think I have an idea for another sad Joy one-shot, so be warned!
