I had been living in Forks for two years when I met her. Until then I didn't think vampires could be left breathless.
The first time I saw her she was getting out of her beaten up truck, she was the most beautiful thing I had seen in all my century of life.
Her long red messy hair was blowing in the wind, like a cape, behind her.
Her dark brown, cat-like eyes seemed to express all the pain in the world, her red over-sized lips would seem oversized on anywhere except her pale heart shaped face.
Her clothes were unusual to what I usually saw on the other teenagers; a large black T-shirt with a graphic grenade image on it, little black shorts, bright pink tights and little Victorian boots. My extreme-vision could see a tiny silver nose-ring and a skull ring on her left index finger.
She threw an oversized black bag over her shoulder and walked up the steps. Her walk was graceful but sill fierce. For a moment I pondered if she was one of us; with her pale complexion and graceful movements, but she smelt human.
"What are you staring at, freak!'' she yelled. That's only when I realized I was staring, could vampires even get distracted by beauty? "Pervert'' she muttered under her breath.
That's when I realized I had fallen in love with her.
