Lucky Cat

Sarah: (grins) well, this is gonna be a funny one-shot. If I get enough reviews, I might make it into a full story. I don't own the Naruto series.

SUMMARY

Sakura has a new kitten. The guys get jealous.

LUCKY CAT

"Mreeeooooooooow!"

"What the hell was that?!" Naruto yells, jumping in surprise. Kakashi and Sasuke are instantly on guard, searching the area for attackers.

Sakura just grins, reaches into her shirt and pulls out a grey, black, and orange fluff ball. "It's just my new kitten," she says, smiling brightly. "His name is Sokuru. I think he wants to play," she continues, holding the kitten like a baby. She wiggles her fingers over the kitten, and the creature swats at her fingers with tiny front paws.

The guys watch jealously as the kitten takes up all of their female teammate's attention. 'Lucky cat,' they all think at the same time.

Sakura giggles when the small kitten grabs her middle finger with its front paws and starts licking it. "Sokuru, you can't eat my finger," Sakura giggles as the kitten starts gnawing on her finger with tiny teeth. "You must be hungry, little one," she continues.

"Meow!" the kitten says. Sakura giggles.

'Damn that lucky cat,' the guys think as they watch Sakura pull a small baggie of cat food out of her pocket. She sets the kitten on the ground and opens up the baggie. Then she puts some of the food on the ground in front of the kitten. Sakura laughs as the kitten starts gobbling up its meal. She lays on her stomach and strokes Sokuru's back while the fluff ball eats. The guys can hear the kitten purring from several meters away. 'Stupid damned lucky cat!' The guys would later swear on their lives that the kitten lifted it's head slightly and stuck its tongue out at them before finishing its meal.

Soon, the kitten is done eating. Sakura picks it up, sits up, and puts the kitten back in her shirt. "Behave, Sokuru," she tells the kitten.

'Stupid damned fucking lucky cat!' the guys all think as one when the kitten's head pokes out of the collar of Sakura's shirt. 'Wish I was that cat.'

Sarah: hehehe, I know it's short, but I can't think of anything else to add without making this into a full-blown story. Hope you enjoyed!
