Floating
I float here in the dark
With only my dead to comfort me
Though they never try all that hard
To cast away the terrifying silence
My breath becomes ragged
And the air is stale
I am floating
Caught here out in the blackness of Nowhere
Floating, I waste away
With reminders of all that I have left behind
Out here
Death has finally come for me
After all this time
I can no longer feel
Not even the coarse suit, scarring my skin
The only faces that greet me
Have already gone pale and lifeless
I wait for Death
He is taking his time
But he is coming, nonetheless
He always does
